🔬Westview Science Night🔬
Thursday Night Westview held its annual Science Night, organized by Mrs. Santos and Mrs. Valdivia! Students got to experience many different Mobius activities, as well as check out tables from many different community partners, including ultrasound equipment, the fire department, composting, and the human brain. Student science projects were also displayed during the evening. Thank you to all those who helped make this event possible, and to all the families that attended!

On March 3rd, Mrs. Santos's class got to visit the Mukagowa Women's University (US Campus) for their Hina Matsuri celebration. Hina Matsuri is a Japanese Doll festival celebrated in March. Westview and two other elementary schools were presented with an authentic Japanese doll as a sign of friendship and peace. Students then got to participate in various games and activities, and eat lunch with the Japanese students at the campus. We are so grateful to the Mukagowa Women's University for providing our student's with this opportunity!
Families will be able view the Hina Matsuri Doll gifted to Westview in our main entrance near our front doors.

Last Thursday our 5th grade students went on a field trip to learn how to ski! We were lucky enough to have our own Mrs. Stagg and Mr. Stagg as ski instructors, running stations and teaching them the fundamentals of being on the mountain. A huge thank you to Mr. Jones and Mrs. Stagg for getting this field trip organized and run the entire day. We couldn't have done it without you!
