Talons Up Tuesday for June! 🦅🩵

In our final Talons Up Tuesday of the school year, we were thrilled to honor teachers Mr. Yanuszeski, Ms. Wagner, and Mr. Dyreson, who were nominated by students and won a free drink certificate generously donated by Daily Habit. Flett would like to express heartfelt gratitude to Daily Habit Espresso for their kindness throughout the school year; this has been a delightful way to treat our staff and allow students to show their appreciation. A big thank you to all our Flett staff for your dedication and hard work with our students this year! 🧋🎉

Probability came to life in Ms. Slade's 7th grade math class with a game of Liar’s Dice! 🎲 Students used what they knew about their own dice rolls to make predictions about how many dice across the game were showing a specific number based on the theoretical probability of rolling a standard die. With a mix of experimental probability, strategy, critical thinking, and a little bit of luck, students battled to see who could outlast the competition. 🤞

8th Grade Celebration Breakfast! ☕️🎉
Flett 8th grade students and their families are warmly invited to gather in the Flett commons on Monday, June 15th, from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM.
We will come together to honor our 8th grade students, the class of 2030, as they conclude their journey at Flett and prepare to transition to High School next year.
The celebration will include a few awards, words of encouragement from Flett staff, and a memorable slideshow. 📽️
Parents, if you haven’t done so already, please remember to send in two photos of your student from early childhood or those that you feel best represent them to be included in the slideshow. Email them to [email protected] by Friday, June 5th, and be sure to include your student’s name in the email.

Flett Staff Bowls Over the Competition! 🎳
A team of dedicated Flett staff members—Ms. McHenry, Mr. Yanuszeski, Mr. Malm, Mr. McHenry, and Mr. Cosby—recently took part in the Spokane Public Schools Foundation's fundraiser, Bowling for Kids, held at North Bowl. This enjoyable competition brought together teams of staff from various schools throughout the district, all aiming to raise funds for grants that support innovative and creative classroom and school-wide projects. We're thrilled to announce that our very own Riverhawk staff team emerged victorious! Congratulations to all! 🏆️🤩

Flett Hosts Westview Elementary!
The 5th Grade students from Westview Elementary School recently visited Flett, giving them an exciting preview of their future as 6th Grade Riverhawks. Upon arrival, they were greeted enthusiastically by our Flett Cheer Team and ushered into the building, where our Leadership students conducted building tours. The day wrapped up with an engaging informational session and a delightful treat enjoyed in one of our picturesque courtyards.
We look forward to welcoming these Wildcats into our Riverhawk Flock next year! 🐾➡️🦅

Browne Elementary Visits Flett!

Browne Elementary School’s 5th Grade class recently came to Flett for a tour, providing them with a sneak peek into their future as 6th Grade Riverhawks. They were warmly welcomed by our Flett Cheer Team and guided into the building, where Flett Leadership students led them on informative tours. The visit concluded with an engaging informational session and a delightful treat in one of our beautiful courtyards.

Ridgeview Timberwolves Visit Flett

Flett recently had the delightful opportunity to host the 5th-grade class from Ridgeview Elementary School, giving them a sneak peek into their future as 6th grade Flett Riverhawks for the upcoming school year.
During the visit the students received a warm welcome from our cheer squad, Flett Leadership students provided guided tours of the building, they wrapped up their visit with questions, and students enjoyed popsicles in one of our beautiful courtyard areas.
We are eager for these wolves to join our flock! 🐺➡️🦅

Indian Trail Mustangs Visit Flett

Flett had the wonderful opportunity to welcome the 5th grade class from Indian Trail Elementary School, offering them a glimpse into their future as Flett Riverhawk 6th graders for the upcoming school year. The students enjoyed a warm welcome from our cheer squad and were guided on tours of the building by Flett Leadership students. We are excited to welcome them to the Flett Community! 🐎➡️🦅
