Meet Our 2026–2027 Yearbook Editors in Chief: Hanley & Hannah
We are so excited to introduce Hanley and Hannah as our 2026–2027 Yearbook Editors in Chief! 🎉
Yearbook is hard work. This year, we’re also committed to doing HEART work ❤️, and we could not have chosen two students who represent that better.
Hanley and Hannah are the kind of people who make others feel like they belong. They are loved by students and staff throughout Flett because of their inclusive personalities, kindness, enthusiasm, and willingness to help. They aren't afraid to admit when they have something to learn, and they are always willing to jump in, figure it out, and help someone else along the way. Most importantly, they lead from the heart.

Under their leadership, our Yearbook Staff will work hard to create a book that captures the people, relationships, laughter, and everyday moments that make Flett special.

Our September challenge is to capture “Joy in the Ordinary.” Look for the little moments of happiness that happen every day: friendships, laughter, celebrations, kindness, school spirit, proud moments, teammates supporting one another, or simply a moment that feels unmistakably Flett.

This year, we're looking a little more closely at the world around us and searching for those pockets of joy that are easy to miss.

The Bloomsday Road Runners Club is excited to announce their annual Sundae Sunday 10-Miler, taking place at Flett Middle School on Sunday, September 13th, starting at 9:00 AM.

Riverhawks RAH! 🦅📢
Enjoy this video showcasing Flett’s 6th Grade class and their spirited winning chant of the Flett Cheer, which they learned during our School Year Kick-Off Assembly. It was delightful to witness the new Riverhawks jumping in and participating in the fun for the very first time.
Congratulations to the 6th Grade for winning the grade-level competition! 🎉🥳

School Kick-Off Assembly 🥳
We had an amazing time at our school kick-off assembly! We gathered in the gym to share essential information for the start of the year, enjoyed a presentation on Flett’s “We All Matter” campaign 🩵, and participated in an exciting grade-level cheer competition. The challenge was to see which grade could learn and cheer our Flett cheer the loudest, with our sixth-grade class ultimately claiming victory. 📢
To wrap things up, we played a fun game of Conehead, where teams from each grade level and one staff team competed to see who could toss the most hula hoops over their “Conehead” team member. The Flett Staff team emerged as the winners.
It was a fantastic way to kick off the new year together! 🦅😁

🎉 Hey Flett Community! Don’t miss out on our Riverhawk Reconnect Community Night event happening Monday, August 24th, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm outside near the gym entrance. What an incredible evening at our 6th Grade Orientation Night! We had a blast welcoming our new Riverhawks and their families into the Flett family. 🏫 It was wonderful to see the excitement and smiles as students explored their new school and got a head start on their journey with us. It was a night filled with joy and anticipation for the school year ahead. Here's to a fantastic year together! 📚✨🦅
