Musha Marimba was invited to perform with Spokane Youth Ballet for their summer performance at the Fox Theater on June 13. It was a fabulous experience playing for the dancers on stage at the historic Fox. We also performed in the foyer after the show for a wonderful and appreciative audience. What a great collaboration!

FIELD DAY 2026
One of the best days of the year at TEC! Students were able to cool off outside with games like Super Soaker, Toe Fishing, Bubble making and jousting on the field. Activities inside the building included face painting, volleyball, limbo and more. They ended the day with Kona Ice which is always a fan favorite. Our Career Detectives Class went on a Field Trip to Fire Station 1 on Friday May 15th. It was an exciting opportunity for the kids to learn what a career as a firefighter looks like, as well as those who coordinate and work in tandem with firefighters. They were able to hear what one needs to do to become a firefighter, what a regular shift looks like, and what kinds of skills one must have in order to do this job well.
TEC's Career Detectives Class is a hands-on, curiosity-filled adventure into the world of work! Students explore different industries, from health and science to business, technology, the arts, skilled trades, and more. Each week includes interactive challenges, simple experiments, creative projects, teamwork activities, and real-world problem solving. Students will discover their strengths, interests, and talents while learning important future-ready skills like communication, goal setting, and financial basics.
Thank you to Fire Station 1 for spending time with our students!
