Today, on Veterans Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who have served our nation with unwavering dedication. I am especially grateful for the people in my life, like my grandpa, and those who have served and are currently serving our country, whose service and sacrifice inspire me every day. Thank you to him and to all veterans who have given so much to protect our freedom. Your courage is remembered and appreciated always. 🇺🇸

Throughout our day, I present different “Invitations to Play,” or provocations, to my students. These activities are often open-ended and meant for them to explore, manipulate, and/or create their own meaning from. It has been so fun to see their curiosity turn into understanding, their questions turn into teaching the friends around them what they’ve discovered, and their play turn into investigation! Sure, printables, craftivities, and workbooks make us as educators feel productive, but nothing replaces authentic curiosity leading to discovery. This is how we teach kids to learn!

Another year of KinderClub begins September 3rd!

Our mixed-age early learning program is designed for children aged 3.5 to 6 years old. It is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, where learning is child-centered and creativity and curiosity take the lead. We foster a nurturing environment where children develop empathy, communication, and cooperation through collaborative play and projects. Math and reading concepts are introduced in skill groups, ensuring hands-on, developmentally appropriate experiences that cater to individual learning styles and promote a love for discovery and learning.
