Now that the book launch event has wrapped up, my team and I are excited to finally share the full final book cover with you!😆🎉
This book series is designed to help you restore your personal relationship with God, break free of battles that have attacked the core of your identity, and have a new hope for what is to come. Large theology topics have been broken down and placed into a fictional format to really bring theology concepts into your own life😄 You are capable of fighting back against the battles that have been brought to you, and through the Lord’s help you are able to have VICTORY over them!
I cannot wait to hear what victories you experience in your life after reconnecting with God❤️
Who’s ready to fight back against the battles in your life?

And just like that, the Redemption of Adi series is launched! 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you to everyone who came out for the launch event, for those who donated the book series to and , and everyone who helped kick off this event! My team and I are beyond grateful!❤️
Now let me tell you, throwing a book launch event was something I was terrified of! 😅Any other authors/artists have a tough time sharing your art too? 🙋🏽♀️ It’s HARD!
But, for those of you who are believers- we are called to serve God and his kingdom with the gifts he has given us. This means you can’t just let what he did through you sit in a closet collecting dust until you die.
You HAVE to share what God calls you to share, even if that’s terrifying! In fact, ESPECIALLY if that’s terrifying!
👏👏👏 I’d like to encourage you today to step out and share the work God’s doing through you.
Be the seed from Matthew that yields 100xs their amount💗
And speaking of art- special thank you to Luke Heglund for photographing the night! If you are looking for an event photographer or videographer check out his website: http://lukehegelund.com

Special “Thank you” to for sharing about the awesome work you do at the book launch event on Friday! 😃
If you don’t already know about these three organizations, I’d HIGHLY reccomend you come and meet some of their representatives on Friday at the event! They are taking ground on major issues in Washington State and making a huge difference👏👏👏 I don’t think I’ve gotten into my car from a meeting with any of them with a dry eye, I’m so deeply moved by them and excited to share the Redemption of Adi series with them to help bring healing to those they work with❤️

As a life coach and someone who’s personally invested in counseling in the past- I’ve noticed that the biggest hindrance to someone’s healing and growth is pressure. 🫤
Pressure to “get through” growth and healing within a time frame
Pressure to reach unrealistic goals right away
Pressure to ease into coaching/therapy with no problems
Pressure to be “fixed” before even understanding where the pain is coming from
Whatever the pressure is, let go of it. Pressure bullies people into personal spirals that prolong any form of success that can take place in coaching/therapy. ☹️
So, do yourself the biggest favor in the world and LET IT GO!!! Surrender to the process and just focus on experiencing healing and growth rather than when it will be complete.

Tonight I participated in a “Trunk or Treat” for the first time!😆🎉 It was an absolute blast and I’m thankful for church and the awesome team I served with tonight for putting it on❤️
I was raised with a legalistic background and the closest I got to Halloween as a child was carving pumpkins and eating a bit of candy from the store. For years after getting married and raising my own kids I struggled with whether or not to participate in any form of Halloween celebration. (Any other Christian found themselves there?)
For a while we wouldn’t put candy out for tricker treaters 🍭, go to neighborhood Halloween parties, you name it. We found alternatives like taking our kids and their friends to night time corn mazes, pumpkins patches 🎃, hay rides, and spending Halloween night watching some sort of spooky movie with store bought candy.
Were those things wrong? No! Not at all! And we still love those outings, but 10 years ago my husband and I realized the major opportunity Halloween is to connect with your neighbors who don’t know God. What other day of the year is a majority of your community out on the streets socializing and going to each other’s homes to make memories with their families?😄 Now we love to find new ways to plug into our community every year on Halloween, and I must say this was one of my favorites😆🎉

💥Attention Parents💥
It’s possible to have an awesome relationship with your teenagers! Stop dreading these wonderful years with them!👏👏👏
This is our only son, the youngest of 4. At the beginning of this month he chose to get baptized and re-dedicate his life to Jesus. Needless to say, we are so excited to see what God is doing in his life and that David is willing to follow.
Here’s how we’ve been able to have great relationships with all 4 of our kids in their teens: (hahaha and now too)
1. Cover them in prayer.
Ultimately, we are brothers and sisters in Christ with our children. It is essential for us to see them as the people God has made them to be and prayer helps us start to do that, not to mention invite God into the spaces around their lives. This helps them to someday make the ultimate decision to let God into their own life.
2. Treat your children with respect.
What does this mean? When they are young, start teaching them right from wrong, morals, how to have a good attitude, etc. Then when they are teens, give them opportunities to make choices in those areas. Teen years are their training grounds for adulthood, SO START TRAINING!👏👏👏 Obviously, this must mean that you set CLEAR consequences with them to help them make decisions, and follow through on those. Having open conversations leads to so much more genuine connection then simply giving demands and ultimatums.
3. Be there for them when they fail.
Your teen is more likely to come to you when they are struggling or have messed up if they know that you will be there for them. If you set a pattern of blowing up every time they do something wrong, then on that day when they really mess up I guarantee they won’t come to you about it. Plus, your relationship with them should mimic how God’s relationship is with you. God seeks to comfort and heal you when you repent of your sin to Him. So do the same with your kids and be forgiving❤️
