University Elementary University Elementary staff are dedicated to serving 290 PreK - 5th grade students. We are Unicorns! Please keep the conversation related to our district.

Users of this social media site agree to follow our Rules of Engagement. For example, with Facebook, these would be included in the long description of “page info”. The guidelines include clear statements about what the site will and won’t allow including a notice that violation of the guidelines may lead to removal of inappropriate comments posted on the site and/or discipline by school administration. Rules of Engagement
The purpose of this page is to share important information with our community and create the opportunity for open communication and dialogue about our school and school programs. To this end, by liking, commenting, retweeting, following, sharing, or otherwise engaging with this page, you agree to follow the following Rules of Engagement:

• Engage in open conversation not personal issues. This page is not meant to replace regular communication channels for sharing individual issues or concerns. Comments regarding a personal issue with the district, a school or staff member will be removed.

• Be respectful. Personal attacks or comments that are deemed offensive to any member of our community will not be tolerated. Inappropriate remarks and profanity will be removed.

• Refrain from using our page to promote your business, product or candidate. However, we may occasionally include a post of thanks to our supporters, business partners, or information about school-related fundraisers or school-sponsored event benefiting local charities.

• Stay on topic. This is a page dedicated to the education of students in CVSD. Comments of all kinds are welcome as long as they directly relate to our school.

• Have a question for a specific employee? Contact them directly, please, via email or phone.

• Be aware. Misuse of school resources including this social media platform by students or employees may result in disciplinary action.

• Employees of CVSD may have personal pages. Don’t be surprised or offended if your request to “friend” them is ignored. District policy encourages staff to keep their personal lives personal.

• All activity using the district network and/or district technologies may be monitored and retained. This page is for the community and we want you to feel comfortable sharing your views about the district. Just know, however, that abuse of the above guidelines can lead to removal of a specific posting or the blocking/removal from our page.

Any 3rd -6th grade girls want a part in UHigh’s production of Frozen?

We are looking for a young Anna and young Elsa for our production of Frozen! Students must be a CVSD female in 3rd to 6th grade living in the UHS attendance area. Auditions will be on Monday September 14th from 3:30-5:30 pm in the theatre. Please enter through the East door starting at 5:20. Auditions are closed so only students who are auditioning can be in the theatre, no parents or friends.
