Washington State SkillsUSA Vice-President Abby Hill and Instructor Salvatore Lorenzen attending SkillsUSA Nationals as part of the Washington State Leadership Delegation last week in Atlanta, Georgia.
Also we did our pins and letters ceremony last week. Some call outs:
-FBLA has the most members with 40 students!! Mr. Smith's goal is to have 50, so we are about there. 📁
-First Robotics is our second largest club 🤖
-Leela Shah has made school history as SVT’s first-ever triple medalist at a State Conference (SkillsUSA)! 🎖🎖🎖
-Our CyberPatriot teams did extremely well too: two teams made Platinum division and another made the Gold division 🌟
Well done SVT students! We can't wait to see what is in store next year.

Last Wednesday, 6/3/26, Mr. Robbins had his second semester GeoGuessr Championship 2026 and the results are in:
🌏GeoGuessr is the online geography game that turns looking at random Google Street View images into a high-stakes competitive sport
1st place: Dylan Agnew (Fresh.)

Introducing Spokane Valley Tech's class of 2026!! 👨🎓👩🎓🎓
Shout out to all our graduates. We also had a handful of students earn their AA degree while also graduating high school.
As Mr. Robbin's Senior ELA and Civics class comes to a close,we’re left with one lasting image from The Catcher in The Rye: the gold ring. 🎠
This book is read every year in his class, and his group of seniors seemed to connect to it in some way or the other, whether they liked or disliked the main character.
A reminder to take risks, embrace uncertainty, and move forward with courage. The future is yours—go reach for it!
We are so excited for you all...it's been a pleasure watching you grow and learn new skills. 🎉👏🎈

Yesterday we had a tunnel of celebration for the class of 2026. See some of the action shots below (why some are a little fuzzy)…whether they were skipping or walking down with their besties, we are also celebrating with you!! 🎉
Also, the seniors dined one last time together under the roof of SVT for their senior breakfast this morning before graduation practice. They played one more round of Kahoot lead by Mr. Robbins and a fun game of “pin the hat on the graduate.” 🎓Thank you to Mrs. Schultz for putting the breakfast together (plus all her work as senior class advisor)and her students who helped set up/tear down.
See you tonight at 6pm at University High school for graduation. After that, as they say, “the adventure begins.” And we know you are so ready-❤

Seniors who want to walk at graduation MUST attend graduation practice and ride the bus.
Class of 2026, we can't wait to celebrate with you! How could 4 years with you go so quickly ?!? 🎓🥳💡

Last Thursday 5/28, we had our 11th annual Tradeshow of Innovation with about 172 community members coming through to watch between both sessions. Check out our winners below, plus our honorable mentions.
On Friday morning, the five winners got to present to the whole school. The winners are in numerical order, but the honorable mentions are in no particular order. Also, to note number 7 for an honorable mention was: Joey S, Evan F, Savannah S- Valley Climbing.
Great job, Innovators! Just because you were not on the list does not mean you did not have a well thought out or innovative project. The competition is always tough and we see your hard work!
Until next year!
