The Conservatory Dance program is well underway in its second semester, and dancers are growing in grace and poise, as well as strength, musicality and stamina. Across the seven classes (ages 3.5-70) currently offered, our focus is on growing an appreciation for the joy and beauty in dance as a "love rightly ordered" and a pursuit to the glory of God. This vertical connection makes the dance program at the Conservatory unique among its kind and provides yet another way to glorify Christ, shape culture, and shine the light of God’s Truth in every endeavor of life. The Oaks Classical Christian Academy presents Much Ado About Nothing!

To all Musical Theatre enthusiasts and hopefuls: The Oaks Theatre has made their reveal and Mary Poppins is coming to the stage in spring 2026. Now is the time to prepare for auditions and gain skill and confidence! The artistic team is going to be looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and skilled dancers for numbers like Step-in-Time, Jolly Holiday, and of course Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. To help with that, I have restructured the Musical Theatre class and joined hands with my fellow dance instructors to give you the best dance offering between now and the end of the first semester: The class meets two days a week - Mondays and Tuesdays, from 4:30-5:25, through the first semester only.
Monday afternoons will consist of Theatre Dance Choreography (taught by Mrs. LaVoie) and Tap Dance (taught by Mrs. Geiger). Tuesday afternoons will be Foundational Ballet (taught by Mrs. St. Onge). Take advantage of this opportunity to meet all three dance instructors of the Oaks Conservatory Dance program and get ready for the musical this spring. The class is open to the community, so don't forget to invite your friends. We look forward to seeing you there, starting November 3.

Hello new, returning, and aspiring dancers! Our NEW SCHEDULE is going into effect THIS WEEK. Please check our website for days and times. IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO JOIN.

We are excited to offer DANCE on all levels this year: There is a little something for everyone: More intensive, twice-weekly technique classes, creative movement classes for the littlest dancers, and foundations/musical theatre dance classes for beginners and growing dancers - even Ballroom and Swing for teens and adults.

Several classes are waitlisted, but we'd love to add more girls and boys to our Musical Theatre, Partner Dance, and Foundations classes.

Now that the Oaks' spring musical has been revealed: MARY POPPINS!!!, consider enrolling and learning dance foundations/tap. You will enjoy meeting our new teachers, Kayleen Geiger, Heather St. Onge, and Clayton&Quinn Fosberg.

We are starting our new dance year next Monday, 9/29, and I am super excited to welcome back returning dancers and get to know new families. We are adding homeschool ballet and inviting boys to our Musical Theatre class which makes me extra happy! Why the change? Low enrollment caused us to reconsider our plans, but we wanted to make sure our devoted few actresses got something for all their anticipation! Once we made the change, students started crawling out of the woodwork to join, so you might call this a lesson learned for the Theatre Arts team!
