I have been working hard on my new website to get most of my stock ready for you to add to your cart! It is an exciting move for my business.

Here is the schedule for the classes:
Flammegang/Flamebands Aug 19. and 26. 4pm-6pm PST
Perletræing/Beading Sep 2. and 9. 4pm-6pm PST
Ullbroderi/Wool embroidery Sep 16. and 23. 4pm-6pm PST
Tellesøm/Counted stitches Sep. 30. and Oct. 7. 4pm-6pm PST
Nupereller/Tatting Oct. 13. and 20. 4pm-6pm PST

All sessions will be recorded. I will add more zoom classes as needed. The initial cost per class includes the kit and 4 hours of zoom. I will email each group with zoom details and more.

We are also creating a "Find your Bunad" Interactive map and search function to help you figure out which Bunad you are looking for! It's a work in progress, but will eventually have all the Bunads from each region in Norway.

2nd day sharing my bunad store with fellow Sons of Norway members in Bremerton! Come and see me!

I just arrived in Bremerton for the District 2 Sons of Norway convention! I will have tables here with lots of my products from shirts, shoes, silk scarves and silver jewelry and more if you are attending! I will be here through Saturday excited to see you!

17. Mai is over for this year! We celebrated the day with our Norwegian friends, son, granddaughters and our 2 shih tzus Hachi and Keiko wearing their bunads!!
Let’s start planning for next year if you are wanting to make your own bunad!!

I am working with the idea of hosting Zoom classes in a few bunad related techniques! I have heard from several of you who have asked for Zoom classes!
The Norwegian Folk Art and Craft Association has launched a program called BUNADGLEDE-Bunad Joy. It consists of 5 techiques that would require kit purchases from me along with Zoom instruction by me. I am still working out the details but most techniques would require 2-4 meetings via Zoom. The kits run from $63-$82 depending on technique. Zoom may add $15-20 per hour for instruction. I am expecting the first kits to arrive so I can work thru them myself before I order for you! They only have a limited supply of these kits so I need to know ASAP who would be interested. I expect Zoom classes to start early fall. Email me at [email protected]!!
