At this year’s Graduation Ceremony, we celebrated the Class of 2026 and the impact they have made on our school community. As VCS’s 50th graduating class, they hold a special place in our school’s history, representing five decades of God’s faithfulness through Christian education. Surrounded by family, friends, faculty, and fellow students, each graduate was honored as they completed this important chapter and prepared to pursue God’s calling on their lives. The ceremony served as a meaningful reminder of God’s faithfulness throughout their journey at VCS and His continued guidance in the years ahead.

The seniors also passed the baton of leadership to the incoming senior class and prayed over them, asking God to guide, strengthen, and equip them as they step into their new role of leadership within the VCS community. It was a special time of reflection, gratitude, and celebration as one class graduated and another stepped forward to lead.

Our elementary students had an exciting day launching rockets and exploring the fun of hands-on learning! It was wonderful to see their creativity, curiosity, and excitement on full display as they put their projects into action.

We were also grateful to welcome recently retired VCS teacher Mr. White back to campus to help with the launches and encourage students throughout the day. Thank you, Mr. White, for continuing to invest in our students and share your love of learning with the next generation.

We thank God for opportunities that inspire students to grow, explore, and use the gifts He has given them.

Our VCS Junior Band did an outstanding job performing at the Spokane Jr. Lilac Parade! We’re thankful for the way these students used their God-given talents with excellence, joy, and dedication as they represented Valley Christian School in our community.

We were honored to welcome Congressman Michael Baumgartner to Valley Christian School yesterday. It was a blessing to share about VCS, give him a tour of our campus, and most importantly, pray for him and his leadership.

During his visit, Congressman Baumgartner also spent time encouraging our graduating seniors and speaking with our Civics class, answering student questions and engaging in meaningful conversation.

Congratulations to VCS senior Chase Sturgis on an incredible performance at this week’s GSL golf tournament! Competing for Central Valley High School through Washington’s interdistrict athletics opportunity, Chase shot a remarkable 63 (9 under par) on Senior Day to win the tournament.

At VCS, students are able to participate in sports offered through their public school when a sport is not currently available at Valley Christian. We’re proud of the way Chase is representing both his school and community through hard work, excellence, and the gifts God has given him. Congratulations, Chase!

Our elementary students had a special time honoring the incredible mothers and grandmothers in their lives during today’s Mother’s Day Chapel. We thank God for the mothers who faithfully pour into the next generation and point their children toward Christ. What a blessing it is to celebrate them together as a school community!

We can't wait to gather our VCS alumni community for this fun-filled weekend!!

Our Elementary students did a wonderful job bringing this year’s Spring Musical, Acorns to Oaks, to life! Through their performances, we were reminded of the growth God is doing in each of their lives.

This year’s program also gave our community the opportunity to “reap a harvest” by collecting non-perishable food items for Partners INW. Thank you to the many families who gave generously—what a blessing to see our students learning to serve others with joyful hearts.

We’re grateful for a school community that not only celebrates the arts, but also reflects Christ’s love in action.
