📚 Help Support Our Chester Library — Sponsor a Book! 🐾

Our Chester librarian goes above and beyond all year long to make the library an exciting and memorable place for our students.

Recently, she transformed the library into a restaurant, with books as the “menu items” — just one example of the creative experiences she provides that make our Chester library stand out! ❤️

We would love to help support all of the extra-special things she does by giving Chester families the opportunity to Sponsor a Book!

Sponsoring a book helps add new and exciting titles to our library for students to enjoy for years to come. Families, grandparents, friends, and loved ones are all welcome to participate!

📖 Sponsor a book in honor of your student
🎉 Celebrate a birthday or special occasion
🍎 Recognize a teacher or staff member
💛 Or simply help grow our amazing library collection

Participation is completely optional, and every book sponsored helps support the creativity, imagination, and love of reading that makes our Chester library so special.

Thank you for always supporting our students and our school!

5th Grade Tunnel:
Today we celebrated our amazing 5th graders as they take their final walk through Chester and prepare for their next adventure in middle school.
To all of our 5th grade families—whether you've been part of the Chester community for one year or many—we are grateful you chose to be part of our Coyote family. Thank you for your support, partnership, and the memories you've helped create along the way.
Congratulations to all of our 5th graders! We are so proud of the growth, kindness, and perseverance you've shown during your time at Chester. We know you'll do great things in middle school and beyond.
We'll miss you, Coyotes! Once a Coyote, always a Coyote. 💙💛🐾

Field Day 2026 is officially over, and what an awesome day it was!

First, we want to give a special shoutout to our amazing Health and Fitness teacher, Mr. Hubble. Many hours of planning, setup, and cleanup went into this year’s Field Day, especially with the significant changes made from previous years. Mr. Hubble always goes above and beyond to make sure students have a great time, and we heard so many kids say, “This was the best day ever!” That is a true reflection of all his hard work.
We also want to give a huge thank you to our amazing volunteers. We truly could not run Field Day without you. Thank you for helping make it such a fun and special day for our students.
This year, we changed from a very structured, timed station format to a student-choice format, where students could choose the activities they wanted to participate in throughout Field Day. This change also allowed us to enjoy an all-school lunch and recess together after the events, making the day feel even more like a school-wide celebration.
A special thank you also goes to the Chester PTO for purchasing new games this year. The Gaga Ball pit and Granny Pants game were absolute hits with the kids and had students laughing and playing all day long. It was wonderful to see so much excitement and enthusiasm around these new activities!
It was such a fun day for everyone, and we are incredibly thankful for all the staff, volunteers, and supporters who helped make it possible. We’re already looking forward to Field Day 2027! 🐺💙💛
