Today was a BIG day at Alisha Anderson Piano Studio 🎹✨
Performing for an adjudicator isn’t for the faint of heart—but our students showed up prepared, brave, and ready to shine. And they absolutely delivered. 💛
There’s something really special about watching students take all their hard work and put it out there in a moment like this. I was front row cheering them on and soaking up every second—SO proud of each of them today.

We received some heartbreaking news this week: one of our young students lost their dad suddenly and unexpectedly. Their world has changed forever as they grieve the loss of a beloved husband and father.

At Alisha Anderson Piano Studio, I pour a lot into making music lessons a joyful, motivating experience for every student—whether it's a silly rhythm game, a personalized piece of music, or a visit to our beloved studio prize store.
Each student pays a yearly studio fee, which helps cover the big-picture essentials—like music licenses, insurance, cleaning supplies, and oh yes... hello piano tunings! With five pianos in the studio and four tunings a year, that’s no small line item. 😅
But the prize store? That’s a personal labor of love. I restock it four times a year with fun, motivating goodies that students “buy” using points they earn through practice and participation.
