🐉📖 From the Pages to the Big Screen!🎬

Our High School English class wrapped up How to Train Your Dragon by watching the live-action movie!

Throughout our novel study, students explored themes, character development, setting, plot, and internal and external conflicts, while learning to compare literature with film.

We also connected our reading to biblical truths about courage, humility, leadership, and looking beyond outward appearances. ✝️ We discussed Joshua 1:9 and 1 Samuel 16:7, reminding us to be courageous and that God looks at the heart.

Because literature is about more than just reading a story—it's about discovering lessons that go far beyond the pages! 💙

🌈✨ Wait… Is That a Rainbow?!

Our first graders are continuing their exploration of light! From white light to the beautiful colors hidden within it, our little scientists are now discovering how water can act like a prism, bending light to reveal a rainbow! 🌈🔬

But the sweetest lesson of all?

“And what does a rainbow remind us of?”

“GOD’S PROMISE!”💙

A little science, a whole lot of wonder, and a beautiful reminder that God always keeps His promises! 🥹
