These students, plus 11 more, will be traveling to Tyler, Texas on January 7th to audition for the ATSSB All-State Band. Again, this is a huge honor, and the directors are proud of their individual efforts!

SHS AFJROTC Marksmanship Varsity team kept their first place standing, and the JV team moved from 4th to 2nd overall in the 4th round of the AFJROTC district's 5-round tournament. We wish all our marksmanship teammates good luck in the last round on Jan 21.

Our senior class is doing a Powderpuff game fundraiser on December 15 at the Wildcat Stadium. There will be a few other performances and vendors as well. We look forward to seeing you there to support our senior class.

Their next round is the toughest audition of all, and if they make it, they will be chosen to perform in the TMEA All State Choir in San Antonio in February. Good Luck!!

Student Council is hosting a Movie night on December 8, 2022 at 4PM to 6PM in the Splendora High School Cafeteria.

Congratulations to our Region Choir Winners! These Wildcat singers performed in the All Region Choir Concert on Saturday in Bryan, TX. Now they qualify to audition for pre-Area on Saturday. Good luck to our Wildcat Choir Team!

Our ROTC put on a celebration for all branches of the military this morning. Thank you to all military members for your service to keep our country safe, we appreciate all you do.

The Splendora High School Air Force JROTC will conduct a Veteran's Day Ceremony tomorrow morning the flag poles in front of the high school on November 11. The drop-off lane near the high school front entrance will be blocked off. Students will exit the vehicle on the sidewalk near the visitor parking lot, and drivers will turn around in front of the flag poles. This will shorten the drop-off queue, so please arrive early.

Yesterday we celebrated our students that got all A's for this past grading cycle!!

Monday evening was full of meetings and good information. Athletics hosted a Basketball Parent Meeting and Athletics Recruiting Meeting. Mrs. Denton had a meeting for her Bass Fishing Team. SHS Administrators, Leadership, and Counselors hosted a meeting for SPO (Splendid Parent Organization) and Class of 2023. Thank you parents and students for being present yesterday. It was a wonderful informative evening in the land of splendid and great.

Last week our AP Environmental Science students are performing quadrat samplings to identify the flora and fauna in their local community to learn about biodiversity and its importance to ecosystems.

We just love when Little Wildcats get to walk the halls! Today Pre-K students from Timberlakes Elementary toured our Culinary classroom and enjoyed the pep rally!

At our pep rally today, we got our students moving with a fun relay race!! Good luck Splendora Wildcats against the Vidor Pirates!! It's a great day to be a Wildcat!

At 3:00 today the SHS Wildcat Marching Band performed in Area competition in Lindale, TX- They just found out they are advancing to the final round and will preform at 8:15 tonight! Send the love and good wishes!

The Wildcat Clay Club helped organize and assist The Montgomery County Food Bank, along with members of PHS Clay Club and Softball team to distribute food bank groceries for families in our area. A Great Time was had by all.
