SHS AFJROTC Marksmanship Varsity team kept their first place standing, and the JV team moved from 4th to 2nd overall in the 4th round of the AFJROTC district's 5-round tournament. We wish all our marksmanship teammates good luck in the last round on Jan 21.
Our senior class is doing a Powderpuff game fundraiser on December 15 at the Wildcat Stadium. There will be a few other performances and vendors as well. We look forward to seeing you there to support our senior class.

Our ROTC put on a celebration for all branches of the military this morning. Thank you to all military members for your service to keep our country safe, we appreciate all you do.
The Splendora High School Air Force JROTC will conduct a Veteran's Day Ceremony tomorrow morning the flag poles in front of the high school on November 11. The drop-off lane near the high school front entrance will be blocked off. Students will exit the vehicle on the sidewalk near the visitor parking lot, and drivers will turn around in front of the flag poles. This will shorten the drop-off queue, so please arrive early.

Monday evening was full of meetings and good information. Athletics hosted a Basketball Parent Meeting and Athletics Recruiting Meeting. Mrs. Denton had a meeting for her Bass Fishing Team. SHS Administrators, Leadership, and Counselors hosted a meeting for SPO (Splendid Parent Organization) and Class of 2023. Thank you parents and students for being present yesterday. It was a wonderful informative evening in the land of splendid and great.

The Wildcat Clay Club helped organize and assist The Montgomery County Food Bank, along with members of PHS Clay Club and Softball team to distribute food bank groceries for families in our area. A Great Time was had by all.
