The 2026 X Inland Championship is in the books!

This week, six OYC boats traveled to Clear Lake Yacht Club to compete against sailors from yacht clubs across the Midwest! Over a couple days of racing, our sailors experienced a wide range of conditions, learned from tough competition, and represented Okoboji Yacht Club both on and off the water. ⛵️👏

Little Puffs and Big Gusts so far this week!! We had some great days of sailing and it was fun being out on the water!!

We've got a week left of classes and us instructors are starting to feel bittersweet. Sailing is such a great sport and we love teaching it! Start thinking about summer plans next year and we hope sailing is apart of those!⛵️💨

Wishing all of our X Boat sailors the best of luck as they prepare for the X Inland Championship at Clear Lake. Hosted by the Inland Lake Yachting Association, X Inlands brings together X Boat sailors from across the Midwest for several days of racing, where competitors face a variety of wind and water conditions while competing for the class championship.
