Merry Moose Childcare & Preschool 6, located in Spicer, is looking for an enthusiastic, dependable, and experienced Childcare Center Director to join our leadership team!
We are seeking a strong leader who is passionate about early childhood education, enjoys supporting and developing staff, and understands the importance of creating positive relationships with children and families.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
* Provide positive, hands-on leadership to teachers and support staff
* Build strong relationships with children, families, and employees
* Maintain a safe, welcoming, and high-quality childcare environment
* Oversee daily center operations, staffing, scheduling, and enrollment
* Ensure compliance with Minnesota childcare licensing requirements
* Support, coach, and hold staff accountable to program expectations
* Lead with professionalism, enthusiasm, organization, and a team-first attitude
* Communicate effectively with families and employees
* Help create a workplace where employees feel supported, valued, and motivated

Qualifications
Candidates must meet Minnesota Child Care Center Director qualifications and applicable licensing requirements. Previous childcare leadership, supervisory, or center management experience is strongly preferred.
