Our final week of Camp flew by! We modified the schedule due to the heat, but had a wonderful time exploring and cooling off in the rivers with the group. Our Open House was a great celebration of the many curiosities of our Campers, and we had a great time. It was a very special first summer of Camp at Revival Springs, and we are looking forward to many more at this beautiful site.

Week 3 of Camp is in the books! A lot of great projects and fun this week at Revival Springs. The group had the best energy and curiosity; we discovered so much together.

We wrapped up wonderful week 2 of Rapp Nature Camp with a fun open house with our campers and visitors. This group was full of great project ideas and enthusiasm— we shared songs and stories about wonderful experiences at our beautiful new Camp home at Revival Springs! We look forward to welcoming our third group of the summer on Monday.

We had our first Camp Open House at Revival Springs yesterday! We told the story of our week, sang some songs, and then our Campers shared their wonderful projects with our visitors! It was fun to share this place. We will miss this group— we discovered so much together.

Week 1 is rolling along! So much to see and do— and a beautiful environment to investigate with our campers. 💚

We toured the Camp site at Revival Springs this beautiful afternoon! It was a treat to have Patti Lane and Steve Paull along with the group to help us with botanical finds. There are 5 kinds of ferns we’ve seen so far! We hiked the hillside trails, meadows, and had a quiet time at the confluence.

Forrest Marquisee, who built the beautiful hillside trails, also joined us and gave insight into the art of trail building.

What a great way to feel ready for the first week of Camp, starting next Monday!

The new Revival Springs Site is really taking shape! Rachel and Smith have been working in the Barn and trails, and Forrest has done an amazing job on some new mountainside trails! We can’t wait to explore this with our campers. We have a few spots left in weeks 1&2 https://rappahannocknaturecamp.org/.
