Announced this past weekend:
With a grateful heart, and a slightly broken one too, we are officially closing our Speonk Location.

Life has a way of guiding you exactly where you need to be and the last two and a half years in Speonk have been beautiful. I’ve made friendship of my own, watched other new moms make friends with one another, and made connections with amazing small business owners.

Speonk truly was a passion project and it filled a piece of my heart that was aching from losing my own mom.

But just as life opened up happy feet for me, it also gave me circumstances that lead to closing.

This was a lesson in following your dreams and making them happen. For helping community and connecting through motherhood and bringing joy to our children. But, the bigger my dreams got (and gosh did I have plans) the more my own children sacrificed— and that for me, made this decision a no brainer.

A true lesson in saying no when things become too much— and just because you CAN do it all, doesn’t mean you should.

Happy Feet Programs will be solely based out of Suffolk county libraries from now on. Proof that sometimes a change in plans lands you exactly where you need to be.

We look forward to seeing you and working with Suffolk county libraries to provide our classes at no cost to the patrons! This isn’t goodbye 🫶🏻
