**BREAKING NEWS: I have been LIED TO my entire crafting life 😤**

So apparently paint brushes are NOT supposed to look like they survived a horror movie?? News to me. I thought "crunchy bristles" was just... the brush life cycle. A stage of grief we all go through.

TURNS OUT. The whole time. THE WHOLE TIME. The fix was sitting in my shower next to my Head & Shoulders judging me silently.

Here's the glow-up your brushes never asked for but desperately need:

1️⃣ Rinse in warm water — yes just water, we're easing in
2️⃣ ONE (1) drop of hair conditioner. Do NOT get greedy. Your brush does not need a keratin treatment, it needs ONE drop
3️⃣ Swirl it like you're a tiny witch making a tiny potion 🧙‍♀️
4️⃣ Rinse and BEHOLD — soft, silky, "did you just buy a new brush?" energy

No. I did not buy a new brush. I fixed my old one with CONDITIONER. I am basically a scientist now.

Save this post. Send it to the friend who's been painting with what is essentially a fossilized stick. You know who you are. They know who they are. 💀
