First, we’d like to wish you a happy Thanksgiving! During this time of year, we start to note all the things we are thankful for, and one thing we are thankful for is to have such a supportive community! Thank you!

Second, we would like to invite you to come to our Spaghetti Dinner tomorrow night, November 28 from 4:30-7:30 at the Heritage Park Community Building in Spencer, WV. The choir will be performing a few holiday songs along with holiday solos from several of the choir members. Tickets are $5 at the door. All proceeds will go to the choir.

Third, we would like to formally announce that Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr. (winner of 2011 America’s Got Talent) will becoming to Roane County High School Auditorium on December 9 for his “Home For the Holidays Concert”. Murphy will also be bringing two special guests from 2022 America’s Got Talent (The Cline Twins!) RCHS choir has also been invited to join Landau on stage! Roane County High School Choir is excited to announce that on December 9, 2022, we will be hosting Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. and a few exciting guests from America’s Got Talent for the Home for the Holidays Tour at RCHS auditorium! Tomorrow, October 27, the 2022 RCHS Choir will be presenting their fall concert at 6:30 PM in the RCHS auditorium. This concert is a tribute to our “Home”, whether you think of West Virginia, Roane County, or even RCHS! We will also have several solos featuring choir members. There will be no charge to enter, but there will be an opportunity to give donations. We appreciate any and all support from our family, friends, and community! Come out and support us!

We were honored to host Dr. Spears and the Fairmont State University's Chamber Choir today at RCHS. Our students were quite impressed by this elite group and their amazing performance. Thanks for taking your time to see us on your high school tours!!

Not only can these RCHS students make beautiful music, but they also have enough brains to escape a morgue! They're good citizens- in and out of their academic setting. We have a bright future, folks!
