During the last week of the Wisconsin State Fair; five of my teammates, and I had the opportunity to work the Discovery Barn. In this role we were animal ambassador’s and worked the produce prix! 🏁

Harley, Suki, Owen. M and I also got to do colorguard for the opening ceremonies at the Governor’s Blue Ribbon Auction! 🐑🐽🐂

The team and I enjoyed seeing performances by the Wisconsin State FFA Honors Band and Chorus! 🎶

American Degree and Honorary American Degree recipients! 💙💛

A big congratulations is in order for section 3’s- 12 American degree Recipients, and our three Honorary American degree Recipients!🎉

The American degree is the highest degree the National FFA Organization can bestow upon its members. Receiving your American degree means you’re among less than 2% of all FFA members nationwide to receive this honor! 🔑

The Honorary American Degree is given to those who have provided exceptional service on a National level to agriculture, agriculture education, or FFA! Along with teachers who have created high-quality agricultural education programs. Which inspire and motivate their students to strive for success are eligible.🦉

Look out for these honorees at the 99th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis! 🏙️

On Friday July 31st I had the opportunity to attend the Jackson County fair and the Buffalo County fair in affiliation with Pepin County for the first time ever! 🎡

At the Jackson County fair I enjoyed watching the goat show, seeing exhibitors projects, and meeting members! I also got to see Section 8 State Officer Natalie and past Section 3 State Officer Jazmin! 🐮

At the Buffalo County fair in affiliation with Pepin County I got to watch the livestock auction and see all different projects members had on display! I also got to meet up with last year’s Section 3 State Officer Corbyn! 🐷

The National FFA Awards and results are out! 🏆

Congratulations to our amazing section 3 FFA member for their hard work and dedication towards representing us at the National level! 🎉

An extra special congratulations to these members and chapters who will be representing us on stage in Indianapolis! At the 99th National FFA Convention! 💙💛

In Agricultural Proficiency Awards: Addison Johnson- Alma FFA, and Conner Hovell- Gale-Ettrick- Trempealeau FFA. 🚜

In National Chapter Awards: earning a three star rating are the De soto FFA chapter and Tomah FFA chapter. ⭐️

In the Agriscience fair is: Adriana Berger and Conner Hilton of the Gale-Ettrick- Trempealeau FFA! 🧪

On July 22nd - 26th, I had the opportunity to attend the Monroe County fair and connect with FFA members from around the county! Along with seeing some great projects members have been working hard on! 🎡

🪽On Saturday night at the livestock auction, some of Gus Helming’s dearest friends gathered the help walk his pig to the the sale ring. His brother Max had the honor of selling the pig in memory of Gus. His friends also helped wash Gus‘s pig and get it back in the pen after the sale. Be a light in this life like Gus!❤️🪽

On July 24th and 25th, I had the opportunity to attend The Midwest Guernsey show in West Salem. Where I was able to connect with not only FFA members from section 3, but from the round the state of Wisconsin! 🐮

🎉A big congratulations is in order for Kaleb Ellis of the Cochrane- Fountain City FFA! Kaleb was recently announced as an American Star Farmer Finalist! 🎉

Kaleb is in the top four in the nation, beating out 46 other states for this honor! We will be cheering him on in Indianapolis! 🏙️

This isn’t Kaleb’s first time representing section 3 on the national stage; Kaleb was the 2024 National Diversified Agriculture Proficiency winner! 🥇

👀 The Wisconsin FFA Association is looking for a National delegate to travel with and represent Wisconsin FFA at National Convention! 👀

The State officer team wants YOU to apply. 🫵Applications are available on the website at https://wisconsinaged.org/ and are due on August 7th. ⏰

Check out what the other State FFA Officers and I have been up to the last month! 🪩

In June, the State Officer team attended Base Camp. Where we learn more about how to best support and serve all of you FFA members! 🫵 Next, we attended the Wisconsin Association of Agriculture Educators (WAAE) conference. 🦉

In July, the team attended Checkpoint 1; where we started to plan for Fall Leadership Workshops and speeches.🍁 Later in July we headed to Washington, DC for State Officer Summit. Where we learn how to advocate for agriculture education, FFA, and agriculture. 🏛️

The team and I have learned so much and cannot wait to serve you all this year!

I loved celebrating 150 years of dairy history (1876–2026) in Jackson County! Sundae on the Farm was host on the Peasley Dairy Farm in Black River Falls on July 12th! 🐄🥛

I enjoyed getting to see and know members from around section 3! 🎉
