Lincoln Elementary kicked off the new school year with a fun-filled Back to School Bash! 🌟

Students had the chance to meet their teachers, enjoy a scavenger hunt with friends and family, and finish the celebration with a sweet treat. 🍦

It was a wonderful way to reconnect, make new memories, and get ready for a great school year!

Exciting news that the Spencer Community School Foundation along with the Chuck and Pat Schmidt Gift to Education Fund will be providing a free activity pass for all Spencer High School Students for the 2026-2027 School Year!

Spencer High School Athletic Events and Fine Arts Concerts & Plays will be covered by this activity pass.

The next Spencer Community School District board meeting will be Tuesday, August 25th at 5pm.

What a way to kick off the school year! 🎉

Our Back-to-School Bash at Johnson Elementary on the playground was an absolute blast! We had all of our amazing teachers and over 55 fantastic students show up to celebrate the return to school.

The energy was incredible as everyone tackled a playground scavenger hunt, exploring every nook and cranny. Some of the highlights included:

🏎️ Epic car races down the slides
📚 Storytime and free book giveaways in the playhouse
🎨 Beautiful chalk masterpieces decorating the pavement
📸 Strike-a-pose moments at our photo booth station

Thanks to the PTO, we wrapped up the perfect evening by cooling down with some delicious freeze pops.

Thank you so much to all the families and staff who came out to make this event so special. We can already tell this is going to be an unforgettable school year!
