September is Attendance Awareness Month so we have a special challenge for Spencer Elementary School!

We’re kicking things off our 6-Week Eagle Attendance Challenge—taking us all the way to Fall Break!

There will be lots of fun, prizes, and incentives along the way as we help our students learn that every day counts!

📚✨ SES 2nd Grade knows how to make learning fun! ✨📚
We wrapped up our Fairy Tale & Tall Tale unit in Knowledge with a Paul Bunyan-sized celebration! 🌲🪓 We enjoyed delicious pancakes topped with blueberries 🥞🫐 to recognize the legendary Paul Bunyan, then showed what we learned by completing an activity sheet labeling the characteristics of this larger-than-life tall tale hero!

Learning, laughing, and making memories along the way! 💙📖🌟 That’s how SES 2nd Grade does it! 🎉

💗 HONOR DOLLY. INVEST IN OUR CHILDREN. 📚

With the loss of Dolly Parton, many of us are looking for meaningful ways to honor her incredible life and legacy.
One of the best ways we can do that is by supporting the program that has touched the lives of millions of children — Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.

Did you know? Dolly’s Foundation provides the books and handles the program infrastructure, while local partners are responsible for raising the funds needed to cover the books and mailing costs for children in their community.

Dolly did her part. Now it’s our turn. ❤️

Consider making a donation in honor of Dolly to help keep books in the hands of children right here in Van Buren County.

Spencer Elementary School Basketball Season is Here! 🦅🏀

We are excited to share the 2026 basketball schedule for our Spencer Elementary Eagles! Please note that all home games will be held at VBHS this year.

For real-time updates, game reminders, and full sports schedules throughout the year, you can always visit our school websites under the Athletics tab and Events section. Be sure to follow our page to stay up to date on all things Eagles sports!
