The 7th grade "Kindness Crew" Homebase Club helped us celebrate World Kindness Day at Spencer Middle School. They made banners to hang throughout the building, cut and hung positive notes on every locker, and left notes and treats for teachers.

What a great end to the first quarter for our 7th graders! Our first Paw Points Auction was a HUGE success! We had SO many prizes donated by our GENEROUS parents we had to save some for the 2nd Quarter Raffle! THANK YOU to all who contributed to make this a great celebration for the kids!! Bring on the 2nd Quarter!

Congratulations to Spencer Middle School for being named a National Blue Ribbon School for 2021 based on their overall academic excellence or their progress in closing achievement gaps among student subgroups. Only 325 schools (45 middle schools) in the nation and 5 schools in Iowa received this award.
