The College of Education is pleased to welcome Kara Ewing as our new Program Assistant.

A 2024 Black Hills State University graduate with a degree in Psychology, Kara brings valuable experience from her previous role as a BHSU Bookstore Buyer. Her familiarity with campus and dedication to student success make her a wonderful addition to our team.

Yesterday, students interested in teaching gathered to connect with faculty, staff, and classmates who share their passion for education. Between meeting new friends, enjoying lunch, and winning raffle prizes, the event was filled with excitement, laughter, and community.

🍎 Future Teachers Out & About on Campus! 🍎

BHSU’s Future Teachers Association (FTA) was out and about on campus grounds at the Student Org Fair!

Kennedy Hamilton from Bismarck, ND, and Brecken Bolander from Winner, SD, were there representing FTA and sharing opportunities for future educators to connect, get involved, and build leadership skills.

From BHSU events and book fairs to professional development, community involvement, and socials, FTA is a great way to get connected and make the most of your time at BHSU! 🐝📚
