West View Elementary School

We hope everyone is having a wonderful summer! In observance of Juneteenth, all District Six schools and offices will be closed on Thursday, June 18, 2026.

This year, the Juneteenth holiday falls on a Friday. Since District Six schools are closed on Fridays during the summer, the holiday will be observed on the nearest business day.

We are truly saddened by the passing of Miss L! She will truly be missed. Please continue to pray for her family, our WVES staff, and students.

We loved seeing our former Wildcats! We are so proud of them and wish them the best of luck!

The weather was absolutely beautiful today and field day was a blast! Field Day 2026 is in the books! Thank you to Coach Jimenez and Coach Stroud for making field day a great success!

Wildcats celebrated Mrs. Dawkins on National School Principal Day by crowning her Queen of West View for the day! Everyone joined in to celebrate our kind, patient, and awesome leader at the 2nd annual Principal’s Parade. Thank you, Mrs. Dawkins, for all you do to make our school the best place to be! 💙💛👑
