Why was it important to you to establish an endowed scholarship at Wofford?
Seeing the world beyond Wofford through Interim travel and exploring places I might never have visited on my own pushed me out of my comfort zone, opened my eyes to different cultures and challenged my way of thinking in the best possible way. It was important to me to "pay it forward" and establish an endowed fund to support Interim travel to ensure this transformative experience is accessible to future generations of Terriers, regardless of their background or financial situation.

Why should others consider supporting Wofford College?
When I chose Wofford College years ago, I could never have foreseen how profoundly it would shape my life and the person I am today. Because my own Wofford experience was made possible by a scholarship, I know firsthand the power of that generosity. It is both my privilege and my responsibility to give back to the institution that gave so much to me, ensuring that future generations of Wofford students have those same life-changing opportunities to flourish.

What does philanthropy mean to you? Why is it important?
I view philanthropy as a legacy of generosity, an expression of my gratitude and a tangible reflection of my values. It often requires sacrifice, but I see myself as a steward of the resources and gifts I have been given and responsible for using what I have to serve others. I love that philanthropy is the tie that binds generations together. Because my own path was paved by the generosity of those who came before me, it is incredibly meaningful to now be in a position to continue that legacy to benefit future Wofford students.
