E. P. Todd School Edwin P. Todd School is housed in a facility built in the year 2000. We are a K3 through 5th grade elementary school. School Focus: E.P.

We offer both traditional and Montessori programs with an enrollment nearing 600. Todd Montessori utilizes the philosophy, methods, and materials developed by Dr. Maria Montessori. The Montessori Method emphasizes the development of all facets of a child's personality - intellectual, social, emotional, and physical. The scientifically prepared environments contain a wide variety of materials from

which the child may choose appropriate learning tools. The Montessori teacher acts as a mentor and guide to encourage individual exploration, discovery, practice, and success. Awareness of, and concern for, the welfare of the group is an integral part of our program. It is important for children to know their role in the scheme of life, therefore the Montessori curriculum focuses on interdependence of all things. Freedom with responsibility is basic to Montessori's thinking.

This special day is all about celebrating pride, traditions, and excitement while sparking meaningful conversations about college and career aspirations. With our first home football game happening this week, it s also a fantastic way to fuel enthusiasm for football season!

As we live out our mission to Inspire and Equip, College Colors Day is the perfect opportunity to inspire our students and brighten our community with school spirit.

Our classrooms are already buzzing with learning, connection, and excitement. Students created class mission statements, met new friends and teachers, reconnected with old friends, learned important routines and procedures, and embraced new lessons.
We’re off to a fantastic start as we Race Toward Excellence! 🏁📚 Let’s keep building relationships, growing together, and making every day count.

What a great way to start day TWO of the 2026 -2027 school year! Thank you to the firefighters from the South Spartanburg Fire Department for helping us welcome our children to school today!
The children loved seeing the lights on Engine 10 and who doesn't love a fist bump or a high five.

We are so grateful for their time this morning serving the students in our community!
