Home School Art Experience

We celebrated the last day of 'Art Around the World' with a cookie party(thank you to our lovely cookie bakers) and our season mini art showing.
Students talked about the art and artists they learned about this Spring semester and at the end of class- got to take home all their projects.
We hope during the summer, all the students keep creating and sharing their art with the world!

Students learned about and painted their own Chinese brush painting today!

Students painted their Folk Art Tiles yesterday!
We love all the bright colors!

This week, students learned about Mexican folk art.
They created their own clay tiles, and next week, they will get to paint them! 🎨

2nd week of class is in the morning! The week flies by when you are looking forward to ArT!

First day of class was fantastic! The students learned about the Lascaux Caves in France. And then they got to try their hand (literally) at drawing on the walls in the pitch black.
Everyone did such a fantastic job at their cave drawings today!

Happy Saturday

This semester's theme is Art Around the World, where we will experience art history and hands on creative learning from different cultures around the globe.  Using a variety of art mediums, children will create a variety of projects that will be taken home at the end of the semester.

Our 8 week spring semester home school art classes ( K5-12) will begin on Friday February 9th, 2024,  and last class day will be April 5th. There will be no class on March 29 (Good Friday).

*Classes are held on Fridays 10:00 am until 11:15 am.

*Location - Eastside Baptist Church  1850 Fernwood Glendale Rd. Spartanburg, SC  29307  (Gymnasium)

*Cost of class is $95.00 per student.

*All materials provided.

*There are a limited number of spaces available so please respond asap.

The Home School Art Experience has been teaching hands on art and art history to Spartanburg county home school students for over 20 years.

The last day of Art Class was today, and we had so much fun showing off all the beautiful pieces that the students created over the past few months. Students got to celebrate with cookies, questions about what they learned, and bring home ALL their art! Yay!
