"Howdy! My name is Maddie B. and I use she/her pronouns. I am a senior Special Education: Learning Disabilities major. I am from the shining city of Greer, SC. I chose Converse because it made the absolute most sense for me. I love every bit about Orientation, but I am most looking forward to meeting the incoming students and aiding their transition to Converse University! If I am not in Montgomery Student Center, you'll find me hanging out in a Greenville coffee shop, reading a good self-help book, or in the Chick-Fil-A drive-thru. "

Meet Kristyn (she/they)! Kristyn is a Deaf Education major with a learning disability add-on and ASL minor from Spartanburg! She chose Converse because of the Deaf Ed program and the community. In her free time she likes to help grow Converse’s Esports team, drive to towns, and watch tik toks. She’s looking forward to meeting all the new people at orientation!

"Hi, my name is Lori Marie Scronce and I use She/Her/Hers pronouns!! I am a Musical Theatre Major and a Dance Minor!! I am from Lincolnton, NC, but now reside in Spartanburg, SC!! I chose Converse because I absolutely fell in love as soon as I stepped foot on campus, I love the friendly environment and all the opportunities Converse has to offer!! I am so excited to be an Orientation Leader because I want to help the incoming freshman adapt to this new life and of course make some new friends!! I love hiking, drinking coffee, hanging with friends, and snuggling with my cats in my free time!! Can't wait to meet everyone soon!! Have a fantastic summer Vacay!!"

Meet Hannah (she/her)! She’s a biology and Hispanic studies double major from Greenville, SC! “I saw that Converse was filled with ambitious people and I wanted to be the same! It is a great place to find your own voice and pursue your passions. I also loved that it is a close knit community and has a beautiful campus. I’m excited to work with an amazing team to make this year’s orientation a great experience for new students! I like reading, writing, watching movies, and skating in my free time."

“My name is Aaliyah Love (she/they). I am a Child and Family Studies Major, and I plan to be a guidance counselor at an elementary school. I am from York, SC and I chose converse because of the community and the comfort that I feel with everyone here. As soon as I went on my tour, I knew that this would be the place for me. I look forward to meeting everyone and making friends with the new freshmen! I hope to become a good mentor and friend :) I love baking, painting, buying stuffed animals, and watching Hell’s Kitchen!!”
