Spartanburg High School JAG

Spartanburg High School JAG JAG stands for Jobs for America's Graduates. Our program at Spartanburg High School began in during the 2015-16. The program is limited to 45 students.

The JAG program is a year-long, elective course open to grades 9 - 12. The JAG program provides challenged students the skills they need to overcome their personal barriers to academic success, high school graduation, and a successful transition to the “real world” after graduation. The foundations of the JAG program include life and personal skills, leadership development, college and career plan

ning, academic assistance, and employability skills. JAG students have a range of opportunities available to them including guest speakers, field trips, mentoring & guidance, and much more! All JAG students are required to complete at least 10 hours of community service and to fully participate in the JAG Career Association.
