If you’re flying through GSP this month, here’s something to keep in mind⬇️

Our runway rehabilitation project has started and includes repaving more than 6,500 feet of runway, repairing concrete panels, replacing runway markings and improving shoulder and safety areas.

There will be nightly runway closures, plus two 60-hour full weekend closures:

Sept. 11–14:
Friday at 8 p.m. → Monday at 8 a.m.

Sept. 18–21:
Friday at 8 p.m. → Monday at 8 a.m.

Flying during either weekend? Check with your airline for the latest information about your flight.

Hi everyone! My name is Ally McCaslin, one of the new instructors at Aero II Academy and I'm so excited to fly with you! My aviation journey started in 2023 after graduating from the University of Alabama with a degree in Addiction & Recovery. I was a flight attendant with Delta Airlines for two years based in Detroit and knew I wanted to give flying a shot when my favorite part was sitting in the flight deck!

In summer of 2024, I took my discovery flight at JQF and fell in love right away! I completed my private license at a part 61 school in Concord before finishing out my ratings at ATP Flight School JQF.

After completing the program, I started flying for SAI Flight Services in Greenville, South Carolina. When I'm not instructing, I am flying as an SIC in the King Air 300, 200, or flight attending on the Challenger 604. When I'm not in the air I love running, hiking, rock climbing, and spending time with my seven year old Golden Retriever, Nala!

I am so excited to be joining the Aero II Academy crew and can't to take new students from zero time to flying professionally!
