Happy Summer Gators! To help celebrate the FIFA World Cup, I'm kicking off a summer reading challenge with a soccer theme that also begins today and ends on July 19th. Read for at least 15 minutes a day between now and July 19, and log your minutes in Beanstack. Compete with your friends, earn badges, and best of all, keep your reading skills sharp! What an amazing week at STEM Camp at Arcadia Elementary!

Our students spent the week exploring, creating, and problem-solving through a variety of LEGO Education programs. Campers worked through lessons using the LEGO Education Computer Science and AI units, where they learned about coding, artificial intelligence, and how technology impacts the world around them.
Students also built and programmed models using LEGO SPIKE Essential and SPIKE Prime, developing their computational thinking, engineering, and teamwork skills along the way. From coding challenges to hands-on engineering projects, our campers embraced every opportunity to think critically and innovate.

We are so proud of the creativity, perseverance, and enthusiasm our students demonstrated throughout the week.

School District Six Summer Meals Program

This summer, District Six will provide free meals for children 18 years of age and under. We are committed to supporting our students and families by offering access to nutritious meals beginning May 26, 2026 through July 24, 2026. Be sure to check the flyer for meal locations, dates, and serving times.

Today we celebrated our 5th Grade class by having a celebration walk, cheering them on, followed by an awards program as they head off to Middle School❣️ Once a Gator, always a Gator 🐊 and we look forward to them continuing to do great things ✨

Yesterday Afterschool had a great time at their Fun Day to celebrate the last few days of school 🐊☀️

Senior Walk 2026 🎓🐊

Gator Nation had a great time at Field Day yesterday 🐊 Each grade level competed in tug-of-war, a sack race, played in bounce houses, got their teachers wet, had a dance glow party in the gym, and cooled down with Kona Ice❣️🏅
Thank you to our Dorman boys soccer team, all of our volunteers for your help, and thank you to jumpstart party rental for the 5 awesome inflatables that made field day a blast! ✨
