The USC Upstate Art Gallery is up and running again in a new location at the Chapman Center! Directed and curated by Dr. Lex Lancaster, the gallery will feature the work of diverse artists from the Southeast and beyond. See our collection of original photographs and screen prints by Andy Warhol, up through the summer. And stay tuned for exciting programming in the fall!

The July 2020 issue of “Carolina Arts” is ready to be downloaded off our website at (http://www.carolinaarts.com/720/720carolinaarts.html), all 47 pages of it. We’re getting a jump on the big holiday weekend. This month’s cover comes from Jane Allen Nodine of Spartanburg, SC, who is having an exhibit at the Upstairs Artspace in Tryon, NC. Her exhibit, “Jane Allen Nodine: Reflections in The Age of Pandemic”, will be on view there through August 7, 2020. You can read about it on Pages 16 & 17 of this month’s issue or visit (www.upstairsartspace.org). We will get thought this if we act smart and play it safe. Some more venues will be opening, but slowly and on a limited basis, so call first to see how that’s going to work in our new normal - which is anything but normal. And, remember depending on how people act, it could all change on a dime and we’ll be asked to close again. Let's try and not have to go through that again. Stay safe folks.
