It was a pleasure to deliver closing remarks alongside Dr. Brothers at the Go Sci Camp hosted on Spartanburg Community College’s Spartanburg (Giles) Campus. This exciting program, in partnership with the South Carolina Governor's School, gave students a hands-on opportunity to explore science, creativity, and future career pathways. What a tremendous way to inspire the next generation of innovators!

We are especially grateful for the outstanding leadership of Dr. April McCollum and everyone who made this experience possible.

Thank you to FilmPool for this thoughtful and meaningful gift. I am honored to receive this "Spartanwood" sign and look forward to displaying it.

As a Spark Center client, FilmPool is helping grow the film and entertainment industry in our region while creating workforce and economic development opportunities throughout the Upstate. Led by MLB alumnus Kenny Lofton, the company is bringing new attention and investment to Spartanburg through its innovative work.

This sign serves as a wonderful reminder of the strong partnerships that help drive innovation, workforce development, and economic growth in our community. I appreciate FilmPool's continued support, collaboration, and commitment to our region's future.

Honored to spend Memorial Day Weekend with the Hub City Spartanburgers as we celebrated the Spartan Regiment identity and recognized the courage and sacrifice of those who have served our country.

Spartanburg Community College was proud to sponsor the Veteran of the Game recognition throughout the weekend and join our community for a special evening capped off with an incredible fireworks show on Sunday night. Thank you to everyone who helped make it such a meaningful celebration of service, remembrance, and Spartanburg pride.

Spartanburg Community College appreciated the opportunity to host the International Magnolia Society this weekend. It was an honor to welcome such an exceptional group of guests to our campus to showcase our beautiful arboretum, the extraordinary talents of Dr. Kevin Parris, Jay Moore, and our outstanding horticulture students whose passion, creativity, and dedication represent the very best of SCC.

Magnolias symbolize strength, perseverance, dignity, and beauty passed from one generation to the next, making this gathering especially meaningful as we celebrate Mother’s Day weekend and prepare for our Commencement Ceremony this Wednesday. Just as the magnolia blooms with grace and endurance, our graduates are preparing to step forward, rooted in knowledge and ready to grow, lead, and serve their communities.

We are grateful to the Magnolia Society International for allowing SCC to be part of such a meaningful celebration.
