The Rising Star Awards were held last night. For those who may not know, they’re basically the Tony Awards for high school musicals. Judges attend productions from over 150 different schools and watch more than 300 productions across New Jersey, selecting the top six performers in multiple categories. Being nominated is an incredible accomplishment.
This year, for the first time ever, I had TWO studio members nominated for Best Lead Male and Best Lead Female. Mind-blowing! That means they were recognized as two of the top performers in the entire state.
A huge thank you to Taryn, who treats me like family, added me to her group and making sure I could be there to experience it all.
Both of my kids gave amazing performances, and I honestly couldn’t be prouder. My shirt says it all!

Congratulations to Chloe for being named the #1 Best Female Lead in New Jersey! I can’t even describe the feeling when they announced the winner and Chloe’s name was called. I’m still feeling the excitement from that moment!
You both worked so hard for this, and seeing your talent recognized on such a big stage was incredibly special.
Caiden- you can make fun of my supportive shirts all you want, but just know I’ll be proudly wearing them to support you forever!
