For our 3rd through 5th Grade students, grit looks like pushing through tough assignments, working as a team, and sticking with hard problems until the job is complete! It takes real focus and determination to level up every single day, and these 3rd through 5th Grades students, accompanied by a couple of our younger grit students, have proved they've got what it takes!

REGISTRATION DAY is July 31st from 8:00-9:30am at the school your child is zoned for. Like years past, guardians will be able to amend and complete the necessary information for all returning students online through Skyward early instead of filling out paperwork. The tentative date for Skyward to open is July 28th at 3pm. This is subject to change based on scheduled Skyward maintenance. Students who are returning from homeschool or moving in from another district may register at WCMS and WCHS on July 23rd. New to county elementary students will complete the process in person at the school they are zoned for on July 31st.

The FIRST FULL DAY OF SCHOOL is August 4th. We can't wait to see you!

Help us welcome Mr. Smith to Pre-K! Originally from Ohio, Mr. Smith earned his degree in Early Childhood Education from Middle Tennessee State University and brings experience teaching both Pre-K and Kindergarten. Pre-K is where his passion is, and he loves serving as a positive male role model for his students. When he’s not in the classroom, you’ll find him enjoying sports, the outdoors, and hiking with his wife and son.
