This applicant must have completed Intro to the Childcare Profession course or have 3 college credits in ECE: Child Development. Applicant could also take Intro to the Childcare Profession after being hired through a correspondence course. Questions about this position please call. Great Beginnings Day Care is accepting applications for a 25+ hour a week afternoon position. This applicant must have completed Intro to the Child Care Profession course or have 3 college credits in EC: Child Development. We are willing to pay for this 45 hour course, which can be taken online or by correspondence. Great Beginnings Day Care is accepting applications for a 20+ hr. a week position. This is a summer position and may be great for a college student. Responsibilities include assisting in the classroom, playground supervision, nap room supervision, etc. This staff person may also be able to pick up more hours subbing when a staff is absent. Annual Chicken Hatch: We had our annual chicken hatch at Great Beginnings with 3 of the cutest Bantam Chicken ever. This is always an exciting activity for the children and staff. The chicks will be heading to the farm this Friday to meet their mama hen.

Attention: Great Beginnings will be reopening our center on June 8th. As we would like to open sooner, we have decided to take all precautions to keep our families and staff safe, and also to ensure we are able to receive paper products, cleaning supplies, and food items etc. Our families that were with the center prior to the temporary closing will have first option for a slot. Any remaining slots will then be available for any families that have been on our waiting list. We also have received a handful of calls and messages during our closure about availability and we will get back to those families as soon as we know what slots will be available. Please private message us if your child will be returning so we can prepare for our reopening and get out our news letter with details of how the center will operate during our return. We are very excited to see our families again and to go forward with our new normal. Have a great day!
