CONFIDENTIAL ONLINE INPUT SURVEY

The Suss*x County Technical School District Board of Education needs your perspectives on what qualities and skillsets will be essential for our next Superintendent of Schools.



Though our search consultant, we are pleased to offer a completely confidential online input survey for all of our school stakeholders. Please note that the survey is wholly administered by the firm of Kathleen Helewa Educational Consultants, LLC, not the school district or central office; all responses and respondents will remain altogether anonymous.

Please take a few moments to thoughtfully participate in this phone-friendly, brief survey. All responses will be shared with the Board to determine the suitability of the candidates for the position, and to formulate interview questions.

Mark Your Calendars!
The Suss*x Tech Board of Education needs the perspectives of all of our stakeholders as we begin the search for our next Superintendent. The Board is seeking what is most important to our learning community as the first step in our plan to recruit the most suitable educational leaders who can lead our district in line with our school's unique needs and aspirations.
To that end, our Search Consultant, Kathleen Helewa, will be spending a day in our District on Wednesday, May 20 to listen to our stakeholders in a series of in-person input sessions. Ms. Helewa will be meeting with students, administrators, teachers & staff during daytime hours, and with Suss*x Tech families and community members in the evening. These sessions will not be meetings of the Board of Education and Board members will not be present.
We urge our families and community members to come and meet Ms. Helewa in the Suss*x Tech Media Center on Wednesday from 6pm--7:30pm to share your perspectives.
Additionally, an anonymous online input survey will be available for all of our school stakeholders in coming days; stay tuned for survey information soon!

We are proud to celebrate three members of our Class of 2026 who walked in the Suss*x County Community College graduation last night, earning their associate degrees!

SCTS Student Council has opened their online store!

The online store closes on 5/10 You have the option to have the items shipped directly to your home or to the school. Items that are shipped to school will be delivered by a Student Council member once they arrive. Items will also be available for pick up in Ms. Re's room, 501 after delivery.

Senior Trip 2026 - Disney!

Mr. Lacorte and Ms. Schlereth took 11 biology and environmental students to the former Culvers Lake Golf Course.

These students worked under the direction of SCMUA Wallkill Watershed ambassadors and planted 200 trees and shrubs on 1 acre of the old golf course to help restore/reforest the area back to a natural environment.
