First and foremost, I hope this message finds everyone impacted by the devastation of Hurricane Helene safe and secure.

I am deeply saddened by the devastation that has hit our region of Western North Carolina. All our communities are experiencing loss, and it is heartbreaking to see. There are still many unaccounted for and so many without access to power, water, supplies, and transportation. I am truly at a loss for words.

Our Western North Carolina Christmas Tree Farmers are just now beginning to evaluate the impact of Hurricane Helene around their farms. Main roads and farm access roads are a concern for transportation needs with harvest season right around the corner.

Please pray for our farmers and our communities as we figure our how to move forward. Farmers are tough and they are resilient, and this will be the ultimate test of strength and faith as we press forward.

The North Carolina Christmas Tree Association office is back up and running but staff are still without power at our homes and the ability to communicate as normal. We will be in the office on limited schedules until we can resume normal operations. Feel free to email me or call and leave a message.
