Veritas Christian Academy is a Christian high school serving northwest New Jersey and the surrounding regions. We chose the name Veritas because it is Latin for truth, Christian to signify that Christ is at the center of our education, and Academy because we are committed to excellence in our academics. Because children spend the majority of their waking hours at school, teachers and fellow studen

ts play a major role in shaping how students develop their worldview. At Veritas, this influence is anchored in Christian values. At Veritas, we envision a whole new generation of parents who have a conviction about discipling their children with God’s glory in mind-- understanding that it is a three-fold process incorporating the church, the home, and the school. Just think about how much could be accomplished if we, as mentors, were all working toward the same goal. We see a whole new generation of young adults entering their vocations who have been trained in wisdom, truth and a strong faith. Although prayer is often overlooked in today’s world, we believe in the power of prayer.

Today wrapped up the 2nd annual Veritas girls summer basketball camp. 16 Veritas girls basketball players showed up to improve their game and have a lot of fun! Thanks Coach McDonald and Coach Seifert for your time and for a great week of instruction!

Recent grad Tim Hawkswell and rising junior Daniel Hawkswell found a familiar face at the Camp of the Woods this week as their history teacher, Mr. Aaron Burke, was a guest. The Hawkswell boys squared off against their teacher in the weekly staff vs guests basketball game at Camp of the Woods!

This week kicks off our preseason soccer clinic open to players in 8th-12th grade at NCS/SCS/VCA. Work on skill development and training for the upcoming soccer season! Clinic is Tuesday and Thursday this week from 6-7:30 at the fields right in front of the school. RSVP at [email protected].

Soccer season is right around the corner. Get prepped for the upcoming season with our two week, Kickstart Soccer Clinic. Open to NCS/SCS/VCA students in 8th-12th grade and will take place across two weeks in August in the fields in front of the school. Come join us!
