WCHS was beyond proud and grateful to honor Martha Jane as this year’s Grand Marshal.

A statement from Warrior Media advisor, Cameron Dronebarger:

Happy Saturday, Warrior fans. I just wanted to a moment to shout out and recognize our wonderful students, as well as their time and efforts.

I am a firm believer that our Warrior Media students are some of the best that White County High School has to offer. Each week, they go above and beyond to celebrate their fellow students, create content for numerous organizations at the school, and broadcast live sporting events to support Warrior athletics and the community, and they do all of this (and more) at the highest level, with the maturity of professionals.

To name a few, our current work based learning broadcast crew includes Addison Luna, Cole Gentry, Henry Usery, Isabella Carmichael, Lucas Phillips, Olivia Flaminio, Solomon Hawkins and Zander Goodwin. This crew continually refines their craft and puts in extraordinary hours of both seen, and unseen work, in order to bring a professional, student-ran broadcast of our football games to the community of White County.

Additionally, we have other key contributors that are not currently in work based learning, but spend their own free time assisting with our broadcasts and much more. Conner Liner, Charlie Durfee, Aidan Rollins and several others have stepped up for us when needed this semester, even if this was not their semester to do so.

The work that these students do is second to none, and Warrior Media does not exist without them. As their advisor, I try my best to notice their efforts each day, but I also want to want to ensure that their tremendous attitudes and efforts are recognized by much more than just myself.

Thank you to each of you that supports Warrior Media in all of our endeavors, and for your continued support of our students. If you see them at a game or in public, be sure to show them your support.

They truly hope to bring you their best efforts in all that they do, and I am grateful to be able to stand on the shoulders of such wonderful students. The future of Warrior Media is brighter because of them.

Please read this important statement regarding our homecoming game and festivities, from Principal Greg Wilson:

"Due to predicted inclement weather on Friday night, we have moved the Homecoming game and festivities to Thursday night. The parade will begin as scheduled at 5:30. Kickoff versus Warren County will be at 7:30. We appreciate everyone’s understanding. Our goal is to keep everyone safe."
