Today's event was, Dad's Bring Your Children to School Day. We welcome all our Dads and Male figures to come and volunteer anytime you are available. Studies show that male involvement significantly boosts a child's academic, social and emotional development. A special thanks to Coach Brandon Johnson, HCHS Boy's Basketball Coach and Mr. Devin Pinkston, ELA Teacher HCHS. Also we are thankful to Mr. Larkin for spearheading this event.

Celebrating Global Diversity Month

10/13/2026

In recognition and support of Global Diversity Month,Head Start/Pre-K created instruments using their fine motor skills. The arts and crafts activity symbolized instruments used in other countries to make music. All students made Morocco‘s. They put those instrument together and climaxed the day by using those instrument during a dance from the African culture. They chanted the words of the song while marching around using their gross motor skills as well. This event displayed many different cultures as some of the students were dressed in different attires for this event. We have more to come with our live folklore, our live storytelling. See you later Family!!
