MISSING SCHOOL = MISSING OUT!
ATTENDANCE MATTERS

YOUR CHILD CAN SUFFER ACADEMICALLY if they miss 10% of school (18 days). That’s just 2 days per month!

IT DOESN’T MATTER IF THESE ABSENCES ARE EXCUSED OR UNEXCUSED. They all represent lost time in the classroom and a lost opportunity for your child to learn.

Arriving late or leaving early can also negatively impact a student missing instructional time as well as the teachers and other students whose learning/teaching is disrupted when a student leaves early or arrives late.

PLEASE make EVERY effort to schedule appointments after school or on scheduled breaks and days off.

MEALTIME ACCOUNTS: As we progress towards the end of the school year, please be sure to regularly check your child’s MealTime account and replenish funds as necessary. If you feel that you may qualify for free or reduced lunch, please fill out the free and reduced lunch application which can be found on our district website under “district forms” and return it to the school nurse.

LOST & FOUND: As a reminder, lost and found items continue to pile up. Please remind your students to check FREQUENTLY for lost items. The Lost & Found will be located in the front lobby through the end of this week, 3/14, before being removed for donation.
