A deeply moving thank you to security guard Kevin Radday, a retired NYPD Captain, and Angela DeLuccia, our Librarian/Media Specialist, for their joint effort in bringing our community together for the 25th anniversary of 9/11. Hearing Kevin share his personal experiences from Ground Zero served as a powerful reminder of courage, sacrifice, and resilience. We were also honored to screen the new 9/11 Memorial & Museum documentary released yesterday, reflecting on the heroes and lives remembered. Thank you for your leadership and dedication and to the many students and Law Enforcement Club members that voluntarily attended the presentation. We will never forget.

You’ve heard about the turtle, but are you ready for the true crime story of Mr. Meehan’s fish tank? 8 years ago, two American Cichlids entered the tank: Ricky and Bobby. Ricky ate Bobby and became the single legend known as Ricky Bobby. He’s been ruling the tank ever since.

This morning, our Peer Development Leaders hosted an incredible 8th Grade Leadership Summit, creating a meaningful opportunity for our future student leaders to learn, collaborate, and grow.

We are so proud of our Peer Development Leaders, along with their advisors Mrs. Szabo and Mrs. Jozefczyk, for their hard work, preparation, and leadership in making this event such a success. It was an amazing experience for everyone involved, and we can't wait to see the impact these young leaders will have in the years ahead!
