Last week’s networking meeting was one for the books.

We celebrated our Sparta R-3 School District teachers, welcomed back a piece of Chamber history, and were reminded of just how much good happens when a community comes together.

Thank you to our Chamber members who helped make this year’s New Teacher Welcome Baskets possible. Eric shared that our teachers truly felt welcomed, and Children's Smile Center went above and beyond by hosting a welcome breakfast for them that same morning!

We were also thrilled to welcome back Joe Valade, one of the founding members of our Chamber Board of Directors. Joe helped lay the foundation for the Chamber we have today, and we’re incredibly grateful for his role in our story.

And Angela Hudson, Executive Director for Least of These, Inc., headlined the meeting with an inspiring reminder that giving back doesn’t always have to look big to make a big impact.

This is what the Chamber is all about: people showing up for people, businesses investing in their community, and neighbors helping neighbors.

We’re pretty lucky to be part of this community. 💙

We’re so thankful for our Chamber members who helped make our New Teacher Luncheon possible!

Because of your generous donations, we were able to put together welcome baskets for the newest teachers joining Sparta R-3 School District. It may seem like a small gesture, but it’s one of the ways our local businesses can come together to say, “We’re glad you’re here.”

This is only the second year for this luncheon, and we’re so excited to see it continue to grow. Thank you to every business that donated, supported, showed up or helped make this event special.

It truly takes a community, and we’re pretty proud of ours. ❤️

What a meaningful afternoon at today’s Sparta Chamber luncheon.

A heartfelt thank you to Michelle with On Angels' Wings for sharing the incredible mission behind their organization. Their work providing therapeutic photography and grief recovery services to families facing unimaginable circumstances deeply moved everyone in the room. There truly were very few dry eyes in the house, and we are so grateful she spent part of her day with our chamber community.

We also had the pleasure of welcoming our four newest Chamber members and celebrating the return of a member rejoining us after a hiatus. We’re thankful to continue growing such a supportive and connected business community.

We’ll see everyone again on June 17 to hear from Show Me Christian County on Business Continuity - sponsored by White River Connect.
