Good morning everyone! Friday was such a fun and emotional day. We are so thankful to have had the pleasure of knowing and watching all the children here grow into bright, young, funny and kind kids. We will truly miss them!

Hello everyone! Tomorrow the 21st we are going to do a disney day! We cant wait to see all your cute disney outfits! Marvel is very acceptable too! Wednesday will be Sports Day and Thursday will be Pj day! And friday will be our Pizza Party.

Dear Families,

As a reminder we will be opening tomorrow (8/25) although Washoe county schools have closed; We will take every day as it comes. As mentioned before with the cooler weather we’ve been able to manage without the cooling systems and have been using fans to push the air around. We will close tomorrow again at 4 pm as we have noticed with the heat rising the smoke settles and is much stronger smelling in the building. We appreciate everyone’s understanding.

Dear families,

Happy days will be open today at our regular time of 6:30 however we will be closing early at 4 PM. As long as the days continue to be somewhat cooler we can manage with the use of fans. We appreciate everyone’s understanding and we will continue to use our best judgment as to what is best for kiddos and staff.

Dear Families,

Just updating everyone on our current situation. As of now we have not needed the cooling systems and are running fans and air purifiers. We did have to take some of the fans we had in classrooms to have facing our front doors to push air out and keep smoke out. There is a mild smell of smoke inside, we are hoping the fans will push the smoke out. We are worried that by the afternoon we will have to remove the fans we have in front back into classrooms to keep classrooms cool as the day gets hotter. We have been in the hazardous for the last 3 hours and don’t see any improvement. We will update in an hour or so to see if we will continue to be open.
