Battle Born V is in the books! Thank you to everyone who volunteered!

Thank you to everyone who attended Battle Born V this weekend! We believe it was our best event yet!

Some statistics:
- We had 0 injuries (again!)
- We had competitors from 10 states and 2 countries
- We ran 7 different events
- We had 16 incredible volunteers and 17 fantastic judges who made the event possible
- We gave away 19 medals, 7 trophies, 29 physical prizes, and over $3,000 in gift certificates
- We ran 55 single-life matches this year, with only 4(!) that had any kind of double or afterblow
- We finished about 30 minutes ahead of schedule both days, even AFTER taking an extra 8 fencers into Eliminations on Sunday
- We ordered 51 In-N-Out burgers for lunch for our volunteers and judges (we provide lunch and snacks for all of them!)
- Some 250 lbs. of swords were used in our tournaments (yes, this is based on actual measured weight!) That's a lot of steel!

For our fencers who are wondering: We submitted results to HEMA Ratings last night.
