Cook Middle School FBLA

Cook Middle School’s FBLA Chapter proudly represented our school at the State Leadership Conference in Columbus today. Students attended multiple Leadership Sessions where they were actively engaged and demonstrated outstanding professionalism throughout the event.

At the Awards Ceremony, Skylar Coppock earned an impressive 2nd place in the state and has qualified to advance to the National Leadership Conference this summer. She is the first student from the chapter founded by Mrs. Sellers to advance to Nationals — a milestone achievement for Cook Middle FBLA.

In the same competitive category, Macey Kinsey placed 8th in the state. Prior to attending the conference, these two students completed rigorous objective testing in this area for the state competition.

Additionally, the chapter was awarded 1st place in the state for T-Shirt Design. A special thank you to Mr. Carnine for his creativity and support in helping bring the chapter’s vision to life.

We are incredibly proud of all our FBLA members for their dedication, hard work, and accomplishments this year. Congratulations on an outstanding showing at the State Leadership Conference!

Students from Cook Middle School were recognized on Wednesday, January 28, in the CMS Media Center for their performance in the Middle School FBLA Region Leadership Conference events.
The following students earned medals by placing in the top five in their specific competitive events across the region, which includes surrounding counties. Their achievements reflect dedication, preparation, and a strong commitment to leadership and career readiness.

Cook Middle School’s FBLA Chapter had fifteen members attend the State Leadership Conference in Columbus today. Prior to the conference, some students participated in objective testing in a variety of areas.

Emma Phillips competed in the Public Service Announcement Video category where she had to film a 30 second public service announcement. She received 10th place in the state for this category.

Our CMS FBLA Chapter President, Samantha Moore, participated in the Parade of Presidents where she was recognized on stage for being the president of our chapter among other chapter presidents representing their respective schools. Furthermore, she and Ivan Thompson advanced to the State Leadership Conference from the Region Leadership Conference in the area of Exploring Business Ethics. For this competition, at the state level, both students had to take an objective test and participate in a performance event where they had to present information about a case study to a judge. Today, Samantha and Ivan found out that they placed 8th in the State for Exploring Business Ethics.

Congratulations to all of these students for all of their hard work, and we look forward to seeing all they accomplish next year.

Our CMS FBLA received various awards at the Region 1 FBLA Region Leadership Conference last night. As a chapter, we received first place for Region 1 for largest local membership. Also, the officer team was asked to present at the conference, and they did a fantastic job. They did a presentation on Time Management Tips, and the attendees enjoyed playing Time Management Tips Bingo. I am so proud of all of these students for their dedication to FBLA and for all of their hard work! Now, onto State!
