The St. Thomas Aquinas College community is profoundly saddened by the loss of Dr. Meghan De Witt, a beloved professor, mentor, colleague, and friend.

Meghan cared deeply for her students and faculty colleagues, and the Honors Program held a special place in her heart. Through her teaching, mentorship, and friendship, she touched so many lives across our College community.

On Saturday, September 5, her family will hold a memorial service at the Church of the Latter Day Saints at 442 New Hempstead Rd, New City, NY. (Details to follow.) In the fall semester, the members of Meghan's STAC family will plan a memorial service to be held on campus.

Among the ways the College will honor Meghan’s life and contributions, a scholarship has been established in her name. The family welcomes contributions to the Dr. Meghan De Witt Memorial Scholarship Fund as a lasting tribute to Meghan's life, her love of teaching, and the profound difference she made in the lives of others: stac.edu/MD

Please keep Meghan’s family and friends — and her students and faculty colleagues — in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We were blessed to have Meghan in our lives, and we will miss her deeply.

As we look ahead to the 30th Annual STAC Hall of Fame Dinner we want to hear about the Spartans who have made an impact.

Who has inspired others? Achieved something remarkable? Given back in a meaningful way? Helped shape the STAC community?

Know a Spartan who deserves to be recognized?

Nominate a deserving alumnus, honorary alumnus, former student-athlete, coach, or athletic administrator for the STAC Hall of Fame.

A summer of learning, discovery, and unforgettable experiences.

Our Honors Program students spent three weeks studying at the University of Oxford, combining rigorous academics with immersive cultural experiences while exploring one of the world's most iconic centers of learning.

President Ken Daly and Laurie Daly recently joined the students in Oxford, hearing firsthand about the impact of the program.

At St. Thomas Aquinas College, our students don't just study the world—they experience it.

It's a love story... and this one began right here at St. Thomas Aquinas College.

“Serving as a trustee for all these years has given me a front-row seat to the transformative impact of a St. Thomas Aquinas College education. Including STAC in my estate plans and being a member of the Aquinas Legacy Society is my way of ensuring that future generations of Spartans will have the same opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed that I have had. These students are the inspiration behind my commitment to the College," said Dr. Charles J. Maikish, Esq.
